Keeping the light
These times are heavy—heavy on the heart, heavy on the mind. When things feel bleak and dark, I turn to grounding practices—yoga, meditation, and photography. That’s true whether the darkness is personal or in the wider world, as it certainly is now.
The practice of photography—of deliberately placing my attention on what is beautiful or soothing—helps me hold on to what remains right: the extraordinary beauty of ordinary things and the extraordinary goodness of ordinary people.
To that end, I am beginning a visual journal, Keeping the Light—an ongoing practice of noticing and preserving moments of beauty, grace, and resilience that continue to appear, even in these turbulent and unprecedented times.
Keep the light burning.

Oooh, I adore this. I will be absorbing the light with you. Your captures are extraordinary. Your heart eyes truly notice and SEE. Heart hugs. Xo💜🪶
